Whether you're in the mood for a creative challenge or you're short on time or attention span, this semi-addictive community is perfect for those who find flash fiction way long. Once you get the hang of it, you won't be able to stop. The prince turned into a frog. The girl ran home to mother. Tough to write. Easy to read. It's a double threesome of fun.

a part of my soul went for a trip without asking me.
Just in case you wonder why there won't be many posts from me for a while besides art & business updates.

Ramble about crafts, glass pendant necklaces, and handmade soap. Probably rather dull, and thus I cut to save your flist! )

Thus ends a very rambly ramble. I geek out over dumb things. It's 4AM. I wonder if I'll still be geeking out about soap in the morning; everything's cool at 4AM.

It's internet connection is fleeting. But I thought I would post during an active connection spurt. Hooray for hotel chains that accept dogs. However, we will be boarding the dogs tomorrow to free ourselves up a bit until we can move in to the house. We have no idea where our furniture is, since the moving company won't get back to us.

We arrived here last night. The trip was long and uneventful, though I learned some things along the way.

More sketch commissions! Working on the rest tomorrow.

Hey and i WILL be at Midwest Furfest in two weeks in the Dealer's Room. I'll have all kind of goodies including wood cut outs, etched glass and Tentatiger toys since it's a local con and i can bring whatever i want. I will also have printed hoodies, shirts, scarves, leather work, patches etc etc and will probably be doing sketch commissions. Please come on by the table and say hello! :)

Also just a heads up. I finally lost my battle with not getting sick and came down with something yesterday after being mildly sick and then totally fine for the past two weeks or so. I will do my best to get things out on time but cut me a little slack since i feel pretty awful, haha. :P All i want to do is lie on the couch and cough, ugh.

halo_shirt

Haha, someone tipped me off that the author Eric Nylund was wearing a shirt of mine in an interview for the new Halo Waypoint on XBox Live.

Went and checked it out and...yup, he's wearing Monster Battle from designbyhumans!

Everyone who responded to my last poll may disregard this entry.

If you did not respond to the poll I created last week, you have probably found yourself bumped from my friends list.
I merely cleaned off my list of seemingly inactive accounts, if you wish to be added back (perhaps you missed the poll for whatever reason) just leave a comment. C:

Thanks!

In other news, thank you to the folks that commissioned sketch cards! I will be finishing the rest of them tonight. I REALLY appreciate it, i needed something to loosen up/relax with. I'm still down to do 'em so just let me know :)

The empire strikes back

In recent weeks, we've taken huge steps towards blocking spam accounts on LiveJournal. In fact, we've suspended as many as 30,000 accounts in a single day! We've implemented several pre-emptive measures to prevent the creation of spam accounts, and we've honed our detection of suspicious content. Spam bots are a crafty lot, so we'll continue to refine our tactics and keep up the good fight to keep you safe from spam attacks on LiveJournal.

RSS feeds again

If you're addicted to [info]xkcd_rss, [info]icanhaschzbrgr, or other syndicated feeds, we're pleased to report that we've resolved the update error that was mucking up your RSS feeds. While content was being pulled correctly, it wasn't being posted to the feeds themselves. Late last week, we finally nailed down what we hope was the root problem, so content should post properly. We thank you for your patience.

There's also a fantastic monthly contest. To enter, join [info]c_s_i, play the online version of CSI: Deadly Intent, and respond to a two-part query for a chance to win a Wii! Entries will be judged on composition and originality. Sorry, but you must be a U.S. resident and over 18 years old to participate. Check out the rules here.

Enveloped in postcards

Last week, we asked you to send in postcards to help us decorate our drab concrete walls. Here's a photo of the results so far! Thank you so much and please keep them coming! You can mail them to Frank the Goat, Esq., c/o LiveJournal, Inc., 539 Bryant Street, Suite 210, San Francisco, CA 94107. Be sure to include your username, since we'll be giving ten random users paid account credits.

Photos of the week

If you haven't visited our new LiveJournal photo community, you're in for an amazing visual trip. LiveJournal users from around the world will take you on a scenic journey to everywhere. Post your own pictures or kick back and enjoy at [info]lj_photophile. You can view some of this week's awesome photos after the jump. Please start tagging with geographic location, since we'd like to track all the places around the world represented in this community. Keep on commenting too!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any art communities besides the ones listed below that may be a good place to share my current artwork. The gallery would have to be something that I am able to add to and delete on my own, not someone's personal web space where I e-mail them my images and they update the site. These are the only ones I know of at the moment.

Seems that my home PC has given up a ghost few days ago. My bro hadnt a clue what could be the reason. I sugested two, the powersource and the motherboard. Few minutes ago i found out it was the first reason. I removed the newer 500W source and replaced it with ancient 350W (I had that one for long time from my old dismantled PC), and reattatched the cables. Computer works now, but I still have to get a new 500W source, as the 350W is on the borderline of PCs needs. At least it works again. God be praised. Amen.
